Here at ISGD, we understand that there are homeowners who long for a personalised design process, resulting in gardens that are the ultimate expression of who they are and how they live. It does not matter how big or small your property or project may be, we know that you want it to be done right, the first time. Design is a crucial part of the process, and by having your property designed, and receiving the required plans and documents to have it installed, reduces risk dramatically. Our affordable options will ensure that your dream garden is within your reach. For homeowners our process is easy. You can choose between a consultation, or a complete design process.

If you don’t know where to start, then a consultation may offer you helpful advice and design ideas for your garden spaces. A Consultation is perfect for the do-it-yourself gardener that needs to sort out a small section of their garden or needs some design direction to solve garden issues. Consultations are available throughout the heart of the Gauteng province. During a two-hour consultation, we analyse your garden, listen to your wants and needs, guide you with ideas and solutions, and advise on some plant, soil, and hardware needs.

Complete design projects are useful for new gardens, larger gardens, master planning a garden that will be installed in phases, and refurbishments of older gardens. This package will include an in-depth meeting to discover what your needs are, and how you would like your garden to look. The client interview is then followed by a conceptual design, which is presented for your approval, and changes are made before your plan is digitally drawn. This digital version of the plan ensures the utmost accuracy and precise quantities, on which installers can quote, and other services like irrigation and electrical can be planned. Accurate plans and bills of quantities make it possible to adjust quantities and materials to fit your dream garden into your available budget. Having your garden designed, drawn, and quantified will greatly reduce your risk of being the victim of poor-quality installations and swindlers. You will receive a digital version of your plan, a Bill of Quantities, planting and material palettes and any additionally requested documents or material. We can also introduce you to some installers, or you can manage your own installation.

Your property or development will be designed by qualified and registered professionals and our designs and services are unique to your project, comprehensive and trustworthy. ISGD Landscape Architectural Services design a variety of projects ranging from large scale developments, new developments, and public spaces to standard council SDPs and LDP’s. We know that it is important to get it done right at an affordable price, the first time. However big or small, your landscape project is our priority.

Affordable Landscape Architectural solutions…

We compile your site development plan (SDP/LDP) and documents needed to embark on your new development. Our SDP package includes the drawing up of the development or property landscape plan, choosing of the correct plants, and making sure all the council requirements imposed on new landscapes for developments are met. The SDP package includes two minor revisions, one before and one after council feedback, to ensure that the landscape development is within financial reach, and that minor changes don’t come as a surprise. All we need to proceed is the developments’ drawing file by your building Architect in DWG format, and we will compile and sign everything needed for your SDP submission, ready for your principal agent or council runner to submit to the city council.

Many projects and developments benefit from fly-through videos, photorealistic rendering, and images that are ready for billboards and advertising material. A project is better understood and more relatable and sellable when it is virtually modelled with a landscape. We can assist with modelling and finishing both your building and landscape in 3D with photorealistic rendering and video options.
