Design Component
The Design component consists of 21 highly insightful and engaging audio-visual lessons with application exercises for each lesson, to make that lesson practical. The Design component is not limited or applicable only to garden design and will benefit a variety of other professions and backgrounds. During this component 3 design projects are scheduled alongside the notes and application exercises. Each design project embodies all the lessons that precede it, to help you build and practice garden design confidence. Application exercises need not be submitted, but the design projects are submitted for assessment and feedback to aid in your personal growth as designer.

Technical Component
The Technical component consists of 17 very useful lessons focussed on installation, maintenance, and applied aspects of landscaping. Each audio-visual lesson is accompanied by application exercises to understand the content in a more practical way. During this component 2 design projects are scheduled alongside the notes and application exercises. Each design project embodies all the lessons that precede it, including technical knowledge to help you build and practice garden design confidence. Although some technical topics might seem very practical, we are confident that the theory and application exercises will clarify topics to a sufficient understanding. Application exercises need not be submitted, but the design projects are submitted for assessment and feedback to aid in your technical abilities.
